Information for Publishers
The Irish Book Review reviews high quality, upmarket books of
Irish interest, i.e. written by Irish authors, or where the subject
has some specific interest to an Irish audience. We are particularly
interested in literature and fiction, poetry, drama, visual arts and
film, music, criticism, biography, autobiography and memoir, current
events, history, politics, Irish culture and society, religion and
business. Generally speaking, we will not be reviewing mass-market
fiction titles, guidebooks, cookbooks, self-help books, true
crime, children's books etc.
Please send review copies of relevant titles to: The Irish Book
Review, Ashbrook House, 10 Main Street, Raheny, Dublin 5, Ireland.
Please enclose a press release or advance information sheet, which
should include full publication details (ISBN, price in euros,
publication date, page extent) and any other relevant information.
Copies of reviews will be sent to publishers on publication.
Please note that the deadline for receipt of books for possible
review in the next issue is August 27. Whenever possible, and
definitely for a book due for publication shortly after this
deadline, we would appreciate advance review copies or page proofs.
The Irish Book Review also has very competitive advertising rates,
with a quarter page ad in full colour only costing 300.00.
